Kindle Worlds Fan Fiction Writer Thinks Reviewers Shouldn't Complain About "proper use of verb tenses"

If you're going to publish your fan fiction under Amazon's Kindle Worlds, and get money for your efforts, you should have your work professionally edited, regardless if it's fan fiction.

Writer Anna Patterson disagrees with this 1 star review for her Vampire Diaries fan fiction because: "but surely a book should be more than something graded like an assignment for proper use of verb tenses! I think this book is a good read, but to be read in fun, and then some!"

Again, publishing is a profession and should be taken seriously and be edited even if it's fan fiction, especially if you are selling it. If people are buying your product, you better believe it will be graded because someone is giving you their hard earned dollars for what they hope isn't shoddy work.
